My earliest memory of Penplusbytes is a lunch meeting I had with Kwami Ahiabenu and Eric Osiakwan around 2003. Kwami was talking about some idea he had on merging traditional journalism to new media. Whilst I was not fully convinced that the time of the idea was right, I was of the firm belief that the need was there and I knew Kwami and his ability to get things done, so I jumped on it.
It’s refreshing to see how far this simple idea has come, the countries and places it has travelled, the people it has touched and the impact it has made on the continent.
To the next 20 years of Innovations. Congratulations Penplusbytes!
