Report on Review of Ghana’s Legal Framework for Addressing Misinformation and Disinformation

This report is an attempt to address a gap in the solution options for addressing disinformation in Ghana that has eluded attention - the law - in spite of the fact that Ghana’s Open Government Partnership commitments emphasise the need to strengthen legal provisions for addressing misinformation and disinformation. The report relies on a review of Ghana’s existing laws aimed at addressing misinformation and disinformation to determine their suitability, currency, and deficiencies.
